The Creators

Welcome to Just Fillin' In Time, created by us, Sarah & Glenda. We are two mums living in rural New South Wales, Australia.

Between home life, kids and husbands, we found a passion for upcycling furniture and an absolute love of home décor. We source beautiful home décor pieces and products for our store.

We also spend time restoring, upcycling and building unique furniture using Australian made chalk paint. We enjoy seeing these unique pieces find new life and new homes.

Our shop is our happy place and where all the action happens.

We are open Tuesday to Friday 9am till 3pm or by appointment.

  • Sourcing Furniture

    It starts with finding furniture pieces with good bones but in need of a refresh. Looking for sturdy pieces with interesting shapes or features that have the potential for transformation!

  • Crafting the Vision

    After we've found the perfect piece, assess its condition and determine what changes or repairs are needed. We then begin to visualise how we want to bring this piece to life again.

  • The Transformation

    The process of upcycling can include painting or staining the piece, repairs, adding new hardware or accents, upholstering or reupholstering, and refining the product.

  • Ready for a New Home

    It's now time to find the perfect place in our store to showcase the upcycled furniture piece. This is where it can be discovered and loved by its new owner.
